Diseño de un Centro de Interpretación del Patrimonio Cultural para la parroquia Gonzol, cantón Chunchi, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

The present research proposes: to design a center of interpretation of the cultural heritage for the parish of Gonzol, Canton Chunchi, province of Chimborazo; It was designed in five phases: the first one corresponds to the evaluation of the interpretive potential of the cultural patrimony of the parish Gonzol, carrying out with the inventory and validation of the cultural assets where it was possible to determine that the state of preservation of the properties are good; the second corresponds to the determination of the interpretive potential of cultural properties, a stage carried out through an exhaustive field work, determining that the reserve has a high interpretive potential which may allow tourists to visit the interpretation center; ; the third as a potential audience for domestic and foreign tourists, since the largest influx is of people over 24 years of age, traveling by train from Alausí is for this reason that this place was chosen to conduct the surveys as it is a place with greater affluence of tourists; the fourth corresponds to the elaboration of the technical design, focuses on the philosophical approach, strategic approach, then selecting the contents and elaborating the interpretative media and the architectural profile of the interpretation center; finally, the fifth phase corresponds to the management proposal that establishes appropriate steps for the proper management of the center, taking into account organizational charts and procedures for the provision of services so that in the near future it can be applied and allow the development of a sustainable tourism that helps to preserve the cultural assets of the Gonzol parish.
