Abstract

The purpose of this research was to carry out an ex post evaluation of the Andes Phase II community development project in the communities of the Guano river basin province of Chimborazo, first a field survey was carried out based on the activities implemented and implemented in the draft; Collecting information to help us determine the social, environmental and economic impact in each of the communities under the basic criteria of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability; We then conceptualized and performed the evaluation of the new indicators obtained in the process, as well as the statistical analysis of a study of samples, starting from the hypothesis, is assumptions whose validity can be confirmed or rejected; They were evaluated by the statistical test probability distribution, which determined the positive impact of the project in the social areas with 90%, environmental with 88% and in the economic area with 70%. In conclusion, the implementation of the Andes Phase II Project in the communities of the Guano river basin helped to improve the living conditions of the beneficiary families while maintaining a sustainable integrated management of ecosystems.
