Plan de negocios para la microempresa Protein, planta de producción y comercialización de papa frita en hojuelas en la ciudad de Riobamba.

Abstract

This present investigation aims to design a business plan for the microenterprise PROTEIN, located in Riobamba city, Chimborazo province. An internal analysis of the potato flakes production plant was carried out, analyzing supply and demand, in order to position the product and strengthen the PROTEIN microenterprise. The analytical method was used to sectorize Riobamba city and surveys were applied to the population to find out about their preferences when consuming potato flakes. The laws and ordinances necessary for its correct and successful operation were analyzed. Costs and budgets were established for the financial analysis, and it was possible to establish that PROTEIN enterprise requires a total investment of USD 127,988.07, including fixed and deferred investment and working capital, which will be financed with its own capital. Finally, it was projected in five years a Net Present Value (NPV) of USD 26,956.02 positive, and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 15%, which is higher than the discount rate of 10% applied in the NPV. From the results obtained from the PROTEIN microenterprise, it is concluded that the business plan design is feasible.
