Diseño de un modelo logistico de distribución en las exportaciones de confites, de la Fundación Familia Salesiana Salinas, de la parroquia Salinas, cantón Guaranda.

Abstract

The present research work aims to design a logistic model of distribution in the confectionery exports of the Salesian Family Foundation Salinas, of the Salinas parish from the town of Guaranda; that allows higher levels of efficiency in the exports in order to reduce inconveniences and future problems with the merchandise to be exported. An institutional analysis of the company and its strategic business units was carried out using research instruments such as the survey and interview directed to the employees of the company; in which there have been problems with the distribution and information that the company handles with the merchandise to be exported. The result indicate a lack of planning and management of the information when distributing the product to the port of shipment; as well as ignorance by the staff regarding departmental functions, certifications, routes, times and costs. The proposal presented focus on improving communication and the proper use of the physical spaces used at the time of exporting taking as an example the main international market that owns the company, the Italian market. Therefore it is recommended to implement the logistic model of distribution presented and improve performance and this way will see a dynamic growth of exports, as well as the ability to respond to orders by costumers, improving the imagine of the salinerito products.
