Plan de salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural inmaterial en el ámbito de la agrobiodiversidad para la parroquia de Gonzol, cantón Chunchi, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

This research proposes to desing a plan of intangible cultural heritage safeguarding in the field of agro-biodiversity in the Gonzol village, Chunchi, Chimborazo province, the goal is to recover the ancestral knowledge wich keeps the village inhabitants´memory alive and guarantees the cuisine sovereignty, wich provides them healthy food and culturally appriopiate permanently. The first step was the registration , it was made in the community to establish agreements and mechanisms to be applied in the process. For the registration of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, direct interviews to the population (the total universe of 1169 people in two samples:elderly people and economically active people in means of agricultura were considered ). After the date collection , the information was transferred to the National Institute of Cultural Heritage (NICH), also surveys were applied to the population aged from 9 to 18 years old to evaluate, rate, and assess the opinions and criteria of safeguarding regarding the inventoried manifestations. The philosophical and strategic planning were applied by the strengths , weaknesses, threats, and opportunities (SWOT) analysis wich was an essential resource. In the agro diversity field , 22 manifestations were identifield , 55% are associated to the local intangible cultural heritage, 27% in the current category , 14% in the vulnerable state , and 4% not in force , Five programs and fifteen projects have been proposed , with basis on energizing , revitalizing, spreading, education, protection , and interpretation of cultural manifestations. It is concluded that the village Gonzol has manifestations related to the agro- diversity , for this reason , the proposed safeguard plan should be executed to protect the intangible heritage troungh time in the future generations.
