Abstract

The current Project explains the design and implementation of a mobile application for the orientation and information of the tourist places of Guano canton, obtained from a survey applied to a sample of 326 people and its verification through a heuristic assessment method by a group of professionals who analyzed the interface design based on principles of usage stated according to the objects of the project. The orientation of the tourist when arriving Guano with no prior reference is minimal due to the use of traditional means of communication. Infography is an innovative way to transfer information since it is more attractive for the receiver and with the appearing, massive use and growth of the new technologies such as mobile devices with direct contact with the customer in each place they head, they join to create this project. The application “Guía Guano” is developed on the web site Good barber which generates a native app and the HTML5 version either for Android as well as IOS, in this process, the sections of the Maps, Articles, Photographs, Facebook and Set up are developed. They all are focused on the diffusion of the tourist places of Guano as the main object. In the assessment, the results are favorable in 73,15 % in surfing, information acknowledgement and orientation; and 26,83 % negative due to the habit of traditional reading and external factors to increase the interaction and functioning. It is concluded that the application is applicable for its development, visualization, synthesis, explanation and easiness for understanding. For instance, it is interesting to the user based on its positive assessment. It is recommended to continue with the use of more attractive and innovative graphic resources to boost tourism, the increase of interaction and implementation of all the services and remaining tourist places.
