Desarrollo de un sistema web para la gestión contable de la asociación de profesores Politécnicos de Chimborazo aplicando la metodología Scrum.

Abstract

The objective of this thesis was to develop a web system for the accounting management of the ESPOCH Teachers' Association, applying the SCRUM methodology in each phase of the project and the ISO/IEC 25010 standard to determine its level of usability. Techniques such as interviews were utilized to collect information, observation to identify all the processes carried out and document review to correctly implement the standards set by the association. We utilized the SCRUM methodology which allowed to work properly between the development team and the client, maintaining meetings regularly to apply the respective corrections on time. In the planning phase, we determined 7 enablers, 41 user stories, and 8 system sprints with a duration of two weeks each one. In the design phase, the n-tier architecture was selected, accompanied by the MVC design pattern, lower camelCase as the coding standard, and SqlServer as the database manager, in the development phase all the user stories were implemented through the tools: Javascript, Visual Studio IDE, Angular Framework, and .NetCore. The evaluation of the usability of the system was calculated through the survey (USE Questionnaire) and it was applied to the entity's members, in which 80.13% of the usability of the system was obtained. It defined an acceptable level of score, with a satisfactory degree of satisfaction. Finally, it is concluded that the system meets the needs initially stated by the client and it is recommended that the administrative staff use the system to avoid the loss of information and keep it clear, accurate and available to the partners, in addition to optimizing time when generating financial reports.
