Plan de salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la comunidad de Ozogoche Alto, parroquia Achupallas, cantón Alausí, provincia Chimborazo.

Abstract

The curricular integration work developed a plan to safeguard the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of the Ozogoche Alto community, Achupallas village, Alausi canton, Chimborazo province, in order to protect and transmit it to future generations, especially to young people, so that they can be the promoters of their own cultural identity. According to the first objective regarding the registration of the manifestations of Intangible Cultural Heritage, we proceeded with the act of free, prior and informed consent for which we contacted Mr. Alberto Bejarano, a local representative, to conduct interviews with the actors involved in the community of Ozogoche Alto and then used the inventory card proposed by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, then 25 manifestations of the ICH were registered, identifying the vulnerability of each manifestation. In Addition, to identify the critical nodes and key success factors, a SWOT matrix was developed and then strategic objectives and programs, and projects were formulated to make the safeguarding plan viable. This safeguarding plan contributes to the technical approach that will allow for its execution. To sum up, it is recommended that cultural promoters be trained to support the development of the programs and projects described in this work so that the conservation and enhancement of the PCI will allow the promotion of community tourism as an alternative for the Ozogoche Alto community.
