Estudio de factibilidad de un centro de medicina andina y alternativa con fines turísticos para la comunidad Cunuk Yacu, parroquia Pilahuín, cantón Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua.

Abstract

The objective of the technical project was the implementation of an Andean and alternative medicine center for tourism purposes in the Cunuk Yacu community, Ambato canton, Tungurahua province, an applied methodology was used through field research and literature review. For the commercial viability of the Andean and alternative medicine center, an analysis of supply, demand and competition was carried out to establish unsatisfied demands and by applying surveys, the technical productive viability was determined by technical design, operational capacity and product packaging In addition, The environmental impacts were evaluated using the Leopold Matrix and the appropriate mitigation and prevention measures were taken, the legal-administrative study was carried out using laws, regulations and tourism requirements. The economic-financial study determined the investment budget, uses and sources, debt calculation, depreciation, amortization, expenses, income, and cash flow. The financial analysis consisted of the net present value, internal rate of return, cost-benefit ratio and payback period. It was determined that the commercial study determined the acceptance in 83.3%, proposing a tourist package, which will be profitable according to the financial indicators: Net Present Value of $90,271.98, the Internal Rate of Return of 16%; the benefit-cost ratio is $1.23, which means that for every dollar invested a profit of $0.23 will be obtained. To sum up, the project is commercially viable, technically productive, environmental, legal-administrative, and economically-financially viable. It is recommended to execute the project according to the budget planning of the commercial, productive and administrative areas, considering all the studies carried out in this proposal
