Proyecto de factibilidad para la creación de una ferretería en la parroquia Tixán, cantón Alausí

Abstract

In the following project I will measure the feasibility of introducing to the market a new hardware store in the parish of Tixán, Canton Alausí in order to open new sources of employment. Through a market study, which was applied surveys to the population of the parish of Tixán, which could determine the demand, supply and level of acceptance that the project will have, this new hardware project will have a different proposal compared to other hardware stores near the parish, as it will offer all kinds of hardware materials and thus avoid the transfer of the inhabitants to neighboring cantons nearby. A technical, legal, administrative and economic study was carried out to determine the initial investment, which allowed us to perform the financial evaluation, a positive Net Present Value (NPV) of $ 30,316.94, a Rate of Return (IRR) of 27.17% and Benefit Cost (B/C) is $ 1.37 with a recovery period of 3 years 10 months 17 days and the break-even point of the project will be $ 64,162.83. Through the application of the different indicators it can be established that this project is feasible, because a high percentage of acceptability was determined by the respondents. It is recommended that the project be implemented for the reason that it is well received in the market and it is observed that there are good results obtained during the research work that was carried out.
