Evaluación del potencial del turismo cultural en la parroquia Mindo, cantón San Miguel de los Bancos, provincia de Pichincha.

Abstract

The present research proposes to evaluate the cultural tourism potential in Mindo village, San Miguel de los Bancos canton, Pichincha province, through data collection in bibliographic sources and participatory meetings for the cultural heritage register, also the analysis of the tourist potential of cultural assets and establishment of the lines use for the potential of cultural tourism from the village. Currently, it has 15 patrimonial goods of immaterial, furniture, real estate and archaeological. But 100% of goods belong to the Hierarchy II, established through the application Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador. Therefore, the lines of use to enhance the cultural tourism of the territory include 7 exchange strategies, 4 consolidation strategies, 5 programs and 12 projects. Regarding financing, a total budget of $ 1.280,650 is considered for 7 years of implementation. In fact the implementation of the proposal to strengthen cultural tourism will consider a tourist development tool at local level, which is necessary to manage timely financing for the implementation of the proposal with public, private and community institutions.
