Elaboración de un manual de procesos operativos para la Empresa Ecuahierro de la ciudad de Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to design a manual of operational processes for the Company “Ecuahierro” in the province of Chimborazo, year 2020, to improve operational management. The methodology applied in the study process is based on a mixed approach, it means the combination of qualitative and quantitative research, the type of research was field study duet to the investigation was carried out at the scene of the events, thus allowing to obtain direct information on the problem studied, a research instrument was applied where it was determined that the company's collaborators do not know exactly the functions they must perform, causing bottlenecks in the processes carried out in the company's logistics (sales) area, preventing compliance with the desired goals, a proposal was made based on the operational processes in order to improve management, starting from the organization of the processes, a description of the activities to be carried out and the policies and guidelines required by the company, It is recommended to socialize the process manual with all collaborators for the proper execution of the activities of each process, in order to correct the problems that the company is currently facing, in order to be recognized for its prestige.
