Abstract

This degree work main aim was to develop an import project for technological equipment and supplies at the company "IBEMM TECHNOLOGY CIA LTDA" in Riobamba city, 2019, by applying import techniques and market research for profitability improvement, this issue was raised because of the problems that arose within the company, several bibliographic sources were reviewed in order to build knowledge as well as a qualitative and quantitative modality research was used, supported by the descriptive type of the analized facts given in the proposal, it was known in the diagnosis that there is no import process, the competition that affects their sales and despite the new communication trends in the globalized maket these have not been assumed by the company, as a result Strategies have been fixed to overcome deficiencies and improve profitability, the selected market in China, a country that provides a large quantity of products in quality and price, allowing a direct trade, the CIF price will be negotiated, permiting the importer to carry out the customs clearance procedures and mobilization of the ítems in Riobamba city, in conclusión: a process has been fixed defined for importation, which allows the company to access new technologies and become a relevant point within Riobamba city, it is strongly recommended to perform the actions outlined within the proposal.
