Generación de indicadores de sostenibilidad turística en el ámbito patrimonial, subámbito: usos sociales, rituales y actos festivos, en la ciudad de Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

The present investigation proposes: To generate indicators of tourist sustainability in the patrimonial field, sub field: social uses, rituals and festive events in the Riobamba city , Chimborazo province ; Through the review of secondary information, mainly from official scientific sources, a list of indicators was made in three meetings together with staff from the Tourism Directorate and the teacher, director of the degree work, which after being discriminated because they were considered ambiguous for information gathering, 17 indicators remained to be measured. The information collected to describe each of the indicators was obtained from the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, Directorate of Cultural Management GADMR, Directorate of Tourism GADMR, Educational Institutions of the city and also applied surveys and interviews for indicators that lacked historical information. Determining that there are 8 festivities, 2 declaration acts, 7 heritage churches and 16 religious ceremonies in urban parishes. In addition, it is appreciated that 89% of the population if participating in the city's festive events, it is noted that, of that percentage, 34% prefer to participate in civic events. For the dissemination of information, an information bulletin was prepared through the Adobe Illustrator CC 2019 program, which contains 9 sections, which allows the population of the city to be kept in constant communication about the social uses, rituals and festive events that exist in The city of Riobamba. It is recommended to encourage the management of public and private entities to promote the cultural heritage of the city.
