Abstract

The objective of this investigation was to designed the Management Information System for the company SESEVIPROP CIA. LTDA., with the request to create a data system that allows the Manager to make assertive decisions both in the financial and labor part. For which an analysis was carried out through research methods such as the deductive and inductive, instruments such as the use of the questionnaire and Microsoft Excel and research techniques such as the interview, the survey and direct observation, these methods were applied to the administrative part and Operational of the company, where it is verified that more than 50% of the personnel need to have an effective communication and have an information management, in addition that the company needs to have a GIS to make decisions with information supported in a database and finally to For companies to be more competitive, training programs for staff in terms of benchmarking and everything related to information systems need to be created. For the proposal, an information system in and Microsoft Excel called SIG – SESEVIPROP for effective decision-making was created and both labor and economic productivity can be improved, the same one that shows the manager of the organization future investments, the monthly stability, the working capital the company needs to function, asset depreciation, financial position in both assets, liabilities and equity and inventories, and person control boards. It is concluded that having a Management Information System is a main and relevant resource for decision making due to what allows for better control and information management. The person responsible for managing the GIS is recommended to consider technical and functional aspects to analyze the factors prior to decision-making.
