Abstract

The objective of this research work is to develop the feasibility project for the creation of the meat processing plant, in Decentralized Autonomous Parish Government of San Isidro, from Morona canton, Morona Santiago province. Surveys were conducted for the president, members and community leaders of the San Isidro Parish Council, and a SWOT analysis. The Parish Autonomous Government of San Isidro has a budget line approved for the project implementation. The market research determines the unsatisfied demand. The feasibility project for the creation of the meat processing plant that starting from the current demand proceeds to project the demand for 20 years. Therefore, it was considered the population growth rate, which is 1.42 %` data from Ecuador in figures, NPV analysis, with a result of US $ 159,209.52 of profitability; the IRR, with 5.698% internal rate of return, with a benefit-cost ratio of $ 1.19 per $ 1 invested, with the feasibility project implementation in the period 2017. Finally, it is recommended to promote associative and awareness campaigns with the parish’s producers in order to initiate a technical slaughter process and with appropriate animal management standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
