Elaboración de un sistema informático integral de activos para mejorar el control de los activos fijos “equipos de computación” del Hospital del Seguro Social de Riobamba en la provincia de Chimborazo, en el periodo 2013

Abstract

IESS Hospital in Riobamba does not have the necessary information from its Assets “Computer Equipment”, that allows it to obtain reports from people in charge of assets, depreciation, location, acquisition and residual values. Information on which can be used to perform inventory, responsible of the assets, guarantees state, replacement values controls, and physical inventory in “Computer Equipment” assets. In the research work applied at IESS hospital in Riobamba, the research methodology of the deductive method was applied on a descriptive level. That is why; a survey was used as a technique for data collection in which it allowed diagnosing the condition of the “Computer Equipment” asset information. As a result of this assessment, it was determined that to improve the information it is indispensable to implement a personalized computer system of the “Computer Equipment” assets at IESS Hospital in Riobamba. For this, it was proposed the development of an Integral Computer System of “Computer Equipment” Capital Assets to allow the recording of basic information, as well as its control to people in charge of assets, prices, depreciation, transfer s, maintenance, an also to obtain reports for its control respecting the established processes and procedures. From the analysis of the work, it is concluded that it is indispensable to have a control in the “Computer Equipment” assets at IESS hospital in Riobamba especially: Records of assets, transfers, calculations of depreciated values, current values, because they carry a great effort and lack the versatility to provide information unless it has an automated system. For all these reasons, it is recommended applying the integral computer system of “Computer Equipment” Capital Assets with all options described above.
