Diagnóstico de la funcionalidad de la infraestructura vial y su incidencia en el nivel de servicio en el cantón Chimbo, provincia Bolívar

Abstract

This degree work entitled “Doagnostic of the road infrastructure funcionality and is effect on the service level in tne Chimbo Canton, Bolivar Province”. Is the principal objetive was to perfomr the diagnostic of the road infraestructure funcionality to determine ist impacto n the service level, hence, to evaluate the current state of the road surface and to know its service level. This research was conduced through the application of research instruments such as couting and observation charts focused on road infraesrtucture that are currently present at the canton, which allowed to know its current situation and to determine the affected service level they provide, among the percentages that have been noted, 53% of the roads are in very good condition, 3% of the roads are in a bad state. It was concluded that the canton roads have been credited a level C service, that is, optimal and adquate circulation doesn´t allow drivers and passengers travel through them. Therefore it is recommended to perform routinary preventive maintence on the canton roads due to existing faults.
